How it works
The Holly Heirlooms Personalized Stained Glass Suncatcher is designed to turn your digital photos into a physical piece of glowing window art. The process begins entirely online, where you upload a favorite picture directly from your phone or computer. The image is then digitally redrawn to mimic the segmented, colorful look of traditional stained glass art.
Once the custom design is ready, it is applied to a premium 3 mm durable glass panel using a specialized UV-printing process. This fade-resistant printing method is specifically chosen to ensure that the image colors remain vivid, even when the piece is continuously exposed to direct sunlight in a window.
Displaying the suncatcher is straightforward and adaptable to different spaces. The piece forms a 20 by 20 cm circle and comes fully framed in a sturdy metal border. You can hang it securely in any window or well-lit area using either the included black metal chain or the provided suction cup, depending on your specific window setup.
When positioned in natural light, the printed glass catches the sun's rays. As the sunlight shifts throughout the day, the colors on the glass dynamically shift and glow, projecting vibrant light into the room and bringing the captured memory to life. This interaction with natural light means the artwork changes with the ambient conditions, providing a consistently engaging visual display from morning to evening.
